Terms of Use - OneScore

These Terms of Use (Terms) apply to your use of OneScore Mobile Application (OneScore/OneScore App) published by OneConsumer Services Private Limited (OCS), to fetch your Credit Score and Credit Report from Credit Information Companies (“CICs”). The App is also a digital lending app (DLA) and OCS acts as a lending services provider (LSP) to various banks and NBFC (Lenders) and allows users to apply for and access personal loans from the Lenders (“PL”). Clicking on ‘Submit’ or ‘I Agree’ or any similar tab/icon would mean acceptance of the below terms and conditions by the OneScore app user (You).

OneScore shall present to you an analysis of your credit profile and provide insights on the main components of the Credit Score including your accounts and payment details as provided to OneScore by CICs on your behalf. As long as you comply with these Terms, OCS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the OneScore App and its services.

1. Scope of Services

OCS owns and manages the OneScore mobile application that enables you to view, analyse, and understand your Credit Score as available in the credit bureau. The app also includes other related features that help in understanding and improvement of credit score, such as an AI powered score planner, blogs, infographics, simulators, quizzes and in-app suggestions.

2. Eligibility

By registering with OCS and using the App you are representing that

  1. You are 18 years of age or older;
  2. You are capable of entering into a legally binding agreement;
  3. You are not barred or otherwise legally prohibited from accessing or using OCS under the laws of India.

If you allow anyone to use your account, including individuals under 18 years of age, you will be responsible for ensuring that such individuals comply with the terms. You will be responsible for all actions these individuals take in and/or through your account. You also acknowledge that OCS does not have the responsibility of ensuring that you meet any of the aforesaid requirements.

3. Registering on OneScore

To avail services on our App, you are required to first download our App, and then provide some personally identifiable information as part of the registration process, which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Mobile number
  • Permanent Account Number (PAN)
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Address

OCS may require you to provide additional details, as and when required, in order to comply with any applicable regulatory requirement or for additional services/products via the App as and when offered, and may also utilize data lawfully obtained from third party service providers authorised by the User, including but not limited to data pertaining to the User’s Credit score, to provide the App services.

Once you complete this process, you will be a registered user of the OneScore App, which allows you to access and use the services provided in the App.

4. Authentication

While completing the registration process you will be provided with a One-Time Password (OTP) or any other authentication code as part of our security procedures. Kindly treat such information as confidential, and do not disclose it to any third party.

In the event you disclose such information to a third party, OCS shall not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password, by sending such details to us on info@consumer.one.

You are responsible for any access to the App through your Account, whether such access is directly by you or through any third party. You will also be responsible and liable to us for all activities that take place or occur through and in your Account.

You agree that your ability to log into your Account is dependent upon external factors such as Internet Service Providers and Internet network, and we shall not be liable for any damages or consequences arising from your inability to log into your account.

5. Violation of Terms of Use and/or Suspicious Activity

If we believe that you have violated any of the conditions as mentioned under these Terms or our Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to suspend your access to the App and/or delete your Account.

If we have reason to believe that there is suspicious or unusual activity being carried out through your account, we may temporarily or permanently suspend your access to the App Services.

You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as and when prompted by the App. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not updated or incomplete (or becomes untrue, inaccurate, not updated or incomplete), or OCS has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not updated or incomplete, OCS shall have the right to suspend or terminate your account and/or refuse any and all current or future use of the App (or any portion thereof) or Services in connection thereto.

6. Use and Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

OneScore and the App Services are protected by copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secret and/or other intellectual property laws. No information, content or material from the App may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without OCS’s express written permission. You are hereby given a limited licence to use the App Services, subject to your agreement of these Terms.

When you upload, submit, store, send or receive content that may include feedback to or through our App, you give OCS a worldwide, perpetual licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, communicate, publish, publicly display and distribute such content. This licence shall not revert to you even if it is not used by OCS. The rights you grant in this licence are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the App Services, and to develop new ones. This licence continues even if you stop using the App Services.

7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

You agree that OCS provides the OneScore App on an “as is”, “with all faults” and “as available” basis. No representations, warranties or guarantees whatsoever are made by OCS as to the (i) accuracy, adequacy, reliability, completeness, suitability or applicability of the information to a particular situation; (ii) that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (iii) the quality of any services, content, information, or other material on the website or App will meet your expectations or requirements; (iv) any errors in the Site and the App will be corrected; (v) warranties against infringement of any third party intellectual property or proprietary rights; or (vi) other warranties relating to performance, non-performance, or other acts or omissions of the Company, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, licensors, or suppliers.

OCS does not warrant that any of the software used and or licensed in connection with this App or website will be compatible with other browsers, third party software or devices nor does it warrant that operation of the website and App and the associated software will not damage or disrupt other software or hardware.

OCS, its affiliates, successors, and assigns, and each of their respective investors, directors, officers, employees, agents, and suppliers (including distributors and content licensors) shall not be liable, at any time for any, direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the website or Apps, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or other theory, even if OCS has been advised of the possibility of damages.

8. Redirects

When you use our App or website, you may access a link that directs you to a third-party site. Such sites are not controlled by OCS and different terms of use and privacy policy may apply. OCS is not responsible for those sites, and may disable these links, upon our review and analysis of the same. OCS disclaims all liability arising from your access to or use of such third-party sites.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The App, the App Services, all your transactions with the App, and our relationship shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that all claims, differences and disputes which we may have shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Pune.
